Housing Plan: the decree converted into law — what changes after publication in the Official Gazette

TOPIC
Housing Plan — conversion into law and new building rules

With the conversion into law of the Housing Plan decree, published in the Official Gazette, building simplifications and new rules for residential recovery come fully into force: leaner procedures for changes of use and for works on existing buildings, with the aim of expanding the housing supply.

Owners, businesses and public authorities must now realign applications and projects with the final text: the amendments introduced during conversion affect building permits, health and hygiene requirements and relations with municipal planning, and should be checked case by case before starting works.

IN PRACTICE
Check your project’s requirements against the converted text before filing the building application.
